Over the past ten years, I’ve been privileged to work closely with numerous
academic departments, instructional technologists, libraries, faculty and
students on evaluating and implementing the latest research technologies to
advance teaching and learning. I am currently Head of Research and Learning
Technology
for the Harvard College Library.

Recent Projects/Activities:

- Interview for Berkman IS2K7
Conference

- Harvard College Library Workshop: Social Tagging@Harvard: Del.ici.ous
Alternative or Passing Flickr?

- Web Consulting: academic
department and course Web pages, humanities computing projects, distance
learning sites.
- Video Series: on special
collections in Harvard University libraries and museums.
- Supervising:  HCL Presidential Instructional
Technology Fellows

- DVD Authoring: “In the Stacks of Despair”
video for new GSAS students at Harvard
- Inter Libros: Research

- Reel Research: Research

My interest in academic research technology developed while completing my
doctorate  in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard.
In addition to working on course Web sites for the department, I became Project
Manager of the Decameron Web at Brown
University, a NEH-sponsored humanities computing project. At Brown, I
collaborated with the Scholarly Technology Group on adding a series of  new
pedagogical and metadata tools to an electronic version of Boccaccio’s great
literary work.
